Now these are some great catches!

The 2026 MLB season is in full swing, and we're following the pro baseball players on the field and off. So are their girlfriends and wives, who support their beaus in stadiums and at home.

Some of those women are familiar faces, like Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander's wife, model Kate Upton, and Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes' girlfriend, former LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne.

Others have made official appearances for their partner's ball clubs. New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor's wife, Katia Reguero, performed the national anthem on violin ahead of his team's game against the San Diego Padres in September 2025.

There are also plenty who are just as supportive but prefer to remain more private, like New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge's wife Samantha Bracksieck, while some are impressive athletes in their own right, like Chicago Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson's soccer pro wife Mallory Pugh.

Get to know these duos and more of baseball's cutest couples as the latest season of America's pastime rolls on.

The pitcher — who's back with the Detroit Tigers, the team he played with for his first 13 seasons, in 2026 — and the model first met in 2012 during a commercial shoot. After a few years of dating, Verlander proposed to Upton in 2016, and the couple tied the knot in Italy on Nov. 4, 2017, just days after baseball pro won the World Series with the Houston Astros.

The following year, Upton and Verlander welcomed their first child together, daughter Genevieve, who fans first caught a glimpse of after the Astros won the World Series again in 2022. Their second child, son Bellamy Brooks, was born in June 2025.

Verlander has been candid about how Upton has been a rock for him, helping to save his life and career.

"She was instrumental in me not … like, jumping off a bridge. I was depressed and kind of just upset at the world and trying to hide my own s---," he told Bleacher Report in August 2018, adding, "I don't like to talk to people about being hurt. As athletes, you're not supposed to … But [Upton] was someone I could talk to. I mean, basically a therapist. Somebody I could trust with … worries about my career."

The New York Mets All-Star tied the knot with Reguero in December 2021. They're the proud parents of three children, daughters Kalina Zoé and Amapola Chloé and son Koa Amani.

Since May 2024, Lindor's walk-up song has been The Temptations' "My Girl," a sweet tribute to his wife and daughters that he initially chose because, according to KRCG13, he was "vibing" to it at the time. It has since become a CitiField favorite. (He picked the Motown hit before his son was born in March 2025.)

"If there is one thing that this guy never fails at, it is being an exceptional daddy 🫶🏽 We love you @lindor12bc," Reguero captioned photos of a sweet father-daughter moment in June 2023.

Reguero is also respected among Mets fans. The podcast host and musician is often seen at home games. Garrett Mitchell is married to another baller — his wife, Haley Cruse Mitchell, played college softball at the University of Oregon and was drafted to the USSSA Pride in Florida in 2022.

"Haley being a softball player and understanding what it means to be out there every single day, I think, is even more important with what I do," the Milwaukee Brewers outfielder told WTMJ in March 2023, though Cruse Mitchell has since retired. "In a lot of ways, it's really helpful because I don't feel like I have to sugarcoat it."

The Mitchells got hitched in December 2021. In honor of their first wedding anniversary, Mitchell shared a photo from their nuptials on Instagram, writing in part, "I'm so thankful for the journey that we have started and will continue for the rest of our lives. Skenes and Dunne met as students at LSU through mutual acquaintances and sparked dating rumors in June 2023, when Dunne wore Skenes' jersey to the College World Series (via TikTok). The pitcher confirmed their relationship two months later in an interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Their stars have only skyrocketed, as Skenes is one of the best pitchers in the major leagues. Meanwhile, retired gymnast Dunne is a model and influencer who has made multiple Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue appearances and plans to pursue acting.

Dunne was in the stands when Skenes made his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates against the Chicago Cubs in May 2024, and she's continued to attend his games. In March 2026, Dunne told PEOPLE that the two don't "have any rules" for navigating their long-distance romance — he still plays in Pittsburgh, while she bought a home in South Florida in October 2025 — and instead concentrate on "being super present with one another" when together.

"I mean, he makes time to come to my events. I make time to go watch him pitch. I try to make every start I can," Dunne said.
