Glad to know we weren't the only ones to notice Danny Webb's *sizable* contribution to the *Game of Thrones* universe on episode 2 of *A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms*.

As Ser Arlan of Pennytree, Webb appeared in a full-frontal nude scene that kicked off Sunday's episode and garnered a lot of attention for it on social media. While showrunner and series co-creator Ira Parker couldn't recall whether the *instrument* was a prosthetic or the real deal during an earlier interview, prosthetic designer Waldo Mason confirmed on Instagram Monday that it is indeed something his team made for the show.

"Very proud to have forged Ser Arlan Pennytree’s formidable weapon for the opening moments of this episode!" Mason wrote in a post that came with behind-the-scenes images of the mould.

Here's how the sausage was made: Mason sculpted it, Jamie Iovino moulded it, Matt Finch was in charge of the silicone, Sam Ives painted it, and Claire Cameron supervised.

"We were asked to create a 10[-inch] prosthetic penis for the fantastic Danny Webb to wear, naked," Mason continued. "Luckily, he was a consummate professional and was happy to work with us to make it as realistic as possible, coming in for fittings that culminated in a very intimate application process in a white tent in the Belfast countryside."

Getting into the technical weeds of the prosthetic, Mason noted, "Because of the size, we reinforced the contact area & edges with wig lace for minimal stretch under its weight, and makeup designer [Pippa Woods] and [Lucille Harding] applied a knotted merkin, hiding any visible edges. It also contained tubing for urination, which we taped down the back of his leg."

Parker previously explained to EW how this gargantuan schlong came about in the context of the story.

"I felt bad for Ser Arlan at some point," he said. "He was the only person who's ever looked out for Dunk and really stuck with Dunk. And he died on a muddy road in the middle of nowhere, was buried without ceremony, and now Dunk is going around trying to find somebody who just even *remembers* him — people that he served for, people that he bled for, these knights and these lords. They can't even remember his name. I felt the need to give him his one special thing, to channel a little *Boogie Nights*, I suppose."

*A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms*, consisting of six roughly half-hour episodes, continues airing new installments every Sunday night on HBO and streaming on HBO Max.
