Acura Brings 3,000 Parts Back for First-Gen NSXAcura
Acura is making it easier to keep first-generation NSXs on the road, launching a new US heritage-parts program with more than 3,000 reproduction parts for the 1991–2005 sports car.
The reproduction parts are available from Acura dealerships nationwide as well as online at Honda’s DreamShop, sold as part of a new Honda Heritage Parts program. The program was created to support owners of classic Acura and Honda performance cars as original components become increasingly difficult to source.
The first-generation NSX is the first model covered by the US program, though Honda launched the program in Japan earlier this year. Acura says the catalog will expand to additional models in the future, although it has not specified which vehicles will be next.

The NSX was introduced for the 1991 model year and became one of the most important Japanese performance cars of its time, sporting aluminum construction, a mid-mounted V6, a screaming redline, and reputation for everyday drivability.
The new program is particularly useful as the oldest NSXs are approaching 35 years old. Having factory-backed replacement parts available gives restorers and collectors another option beyond used parts, aftermarket suppliers, and increasingly scarce new old stock.
“Honda Heritage Parts was created to help our customers enjoy their classic Acura and Honda performance models,” said Mamadou Diallo, executive vice president at American Honda.
