Nearly every Republican candidate Nicki Minaj has endorsed was defeated by their Democratic opponent in this week's midterm elections.

The rapper, who has aligned herself with MAGA and has become one of Donald Trump's biggest celebrity supporters, had encouraged Americans to "Vote Red" at the elections. During the campaign, she also appeared at various White House events and even hit the campaign trail alongside President Donald Trump, hoping to boost Republican candidates.

However, several of the candidates Minaj backed faced high-profile losses. Mike Rogers, who was running for the US Senate race in Michigan, lost to Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, despite Minaj, 43, joining Trump on Air Force One and appearing on stage to campaign for him.

John James lost the Michigan gubernatorial race against Democratic incumbent Jocelyn Benson. Bruce Blakeman, who was running for governor of New York, was defeated by Democratic incumbent Governor Kathy Hochul.

Byron Donalds, who won Florida's governor's race, becoming the state's first Black governor, appears to be the sole successful pick from Minaj's list. After the results of the midterms became clear, Minaj broke her silence with a defensive, 15-point listicle.

In her posts, she doubled down on her support, stating, "Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT" and taking a swipe at critics by highlighting Elon Musk's wealth. She wrote, "Couple things: 1. Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT.

"2. The QUEEN is STILL your OBSESSION. 3. Jesus is STILL LORD. 4. Great insight by the VICE PRESIDENT. 5. Knowledge is POWER. 6. Congratulations to all winners! Especially @RepLuna & @ByronDonalds.

"7. Blowing a billion on a losing campaign full of celebrities is STILL hurting them. 8. The BARBZ are STILL PRETTY!!! 9. I don't vote, I VETO. 10. Stay tuned & STAY MAD. 11. Christians are STILL being killed. 12. Maybe now our people will WAKE UP. 13. Love you."

In a follow-up post, she added, "Last thing: 14. Elon is STILL a trillionaire and you are STILL posting on his app. I'm sure the shareholders appreciate the dialogue. 15. #GrokBot is a phenomenal product that has significantly changed my life for the better. Thank you, @bot."

Minaj has also faced widespread social media mockery for her apparent lack of electoral influence after appearing outside a polling station in New Hampshire even though she is not an American citizen and can't vote.

Meanwhile, her former lawyers have filed renewed court claims alleging she owes them nearly $300,000 in unpaid legal fees. The law firm Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani renewed a default judgment request for $295,605 against Minaj and Harajuku Barbie Music LLC, citing $229,541.75 in unpaid bills plus late fees and costs.

The fees stem from a 2024 copyright infringement lawsuit involving her song I Lied and songwriter Julius Johnson, which concluded in a private settlement. A hearing is scheduled for November 16.
