The couple spent some of the holiday with friends.
Amongst their guests was SNL star Bowen Yang.
On Friday, Ariana Grande reposted some Instagram Stories from her holiday celebration taken by boyfriend Ethan Slater. In the two boomerangs, Grande is on the couch with her dog wearing an all-black ensemble with a mock turtleneck shirt and black sweats.
In the first post, she is leaning over the dog to give him a scratch and in the second she is smiling up towards the camera, a pink emoji over them both. She has her hair up in a bun and is wearing a white headband and a pair of diamond stud earrings.
In other pictures in Grande’s Instagram Stories she can be seen with some of their guests, including her Wicked costar, Bowen Yang. Grande hosted Saturday Night Live last week, which was also Yang’s last episode on the iconic sketch show. Slater made an appearance in pictures shared by her friend Liz Gillies, supporting the actress and singer during her third round of hosting for the series.
The couple rarely makes public comments about one another. This same time last year, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Grande and Slater have considered getting engaged in the future.
“They’re continuing to appreciate and enjoy this moment, both professionally and personally,” stated the insider. “They think each other is ‘The One’ but aren’t rushing towards an engagement, though that is something that they both see happening.”
In September this year, Slater talked about Grande to People when discussing how fans were fighting over getting Eternal Sunshine Tour tickets.
“Ari’s fans are unbelievable and incredible and ferocious in their support of her—and it’s a beautiful thing,” Slater said. “I really hope that there are other opportunities to see her perform.”
He added, “It’s really intense, and I’ve been, sort of, following along. It’s kind of an amazing thing that so many people wanna see her shows, you know? Like what a beautiful thing.”
