Blake Lively made a rare public appearance on November 3, stepping out in New York City in a vintage Chanel minidress.

The actress paired the strapless dress from the house’s 1994 collection with a Chanel bucket bag and Christian Louboutin heels.

For the girls’ night out without husband Ryan Reynolds, Lively attended the launch party for jeweler Brent Neale’s holiday collection.

Blake Lively’s public appearances have been few and far between this year, but the actress dazzled as she stepped out in New York City wearing a vintage navy blue Chanel minidress from 32 years ago.

On November 3, the mom of four was seen on the Upper East Side headed to an event celebrating the launch of jeweler Brent Neale’s new holiday collection, E! News reported. It appeared to be a girls’ night out, as Lively was seen with friends, but not her husband of 14 years, Ryan Reynolds.

Lively’s strapless Chanel dress from the house’s 1994 collection was covered in glittering sequins and black bows. She accessorized with a Chanel bucket bag and Christian Louboutin heels and wore her long, blonde hair down and curled in old Hollywood waves. She finished off her look with statement earrings and a smattering of rings, appropriately designed by Brent Neale, the man of the hour.

The It Ends With Us star’s appearance came on the heels of a video shared to her Instagram Story where she revealed her beauty regimen—done to make her appear as if she’s in the “first trimester of life.”

“Natural beauty is effortless,” she quipped on the post, which showed her in red-light therapy headgear with a sheet mask pasted to her face. She joked about the “effort” put into her beauty routine, adding, “I miss the 2000s when we just used that hand soap with fish characters on it on our face and called it a day.”

Lively—who shares James, 11, Inez, 10, Betty, 7, and Olin, 3, with Reynolds—has kept a low profile as of late. Her most recent public outing was to the FIFA World Cup final back in July, where her vibe was much more casual—for that appearance, she supported Argentina in a blue and white striped shirt, a white tank top, and jeans. That same month, she was noticeably absent from Taylor Swift’s July 3 wedding to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden.

In August, Lively turned 39 years old and received a sweet tribute from her husband, who wrote that her August 25 birthday “is this family’s Super Bowl.”

“I know how lucky I am that you were born,” he wrote on Instagram. “Every time I’ve ever hit my head, it’s YOUR life that flashes before my eyes.”

Calling his wife “the very best human I know,” he added, “You’re not just another courageous and deeply kind genius. You’re also unreasonably cute.” Lively returned the favor when Reynolds turned 50 on October 23, breaking a social media drought to say happy birthday to her “manny.”
