Christian shared his own tribute alongside many photos with his mom over the years, from childhood snuggles to teenage events. "HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!," he wrote. "I miss you sooo soo much! I wish I could be with you right now and hug and kiss you!! You are the reason I keep going every day! I love you and miss you mommy! #Foreverkp."
Porter's oldest child, son Quincy Brown, who she shared with Al B. Sure before she began dating Diddy, also shared a sweet message where he said he was "forever blessed and grateful for the strength you instilled in me."

He shared some touching photos he found when an old camera of his was returned after being accidentally sold at a flea market. "The guy who found it recognized me in the photos and actually tracked me down… shoutout to him," he explained. "The icing on the cake? This was the very last photo in the camera. Felt like a sign. Had to share this gem wit y'all on her day. I love you, Mommy."
Porter died suddenly at age 47 on Nov. 15, 2018, following a brief flu-like illness, and the official cause was determined to be pneumonia by the coroner. At the time, conspiracies around her death began swirling. They were reinvigorated by the new 50 Cent-produced Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which followed Diddy's rise to prominence, potential involvement in the deaths of 2Pac Shakur and Biggie Smalls, and recent lawsuit involving widespread allegations of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and abuse by ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and many other accusers. Quincy's dad, Al B. Sure, prominently participated in the documentary.

Many documentary viewers left comments on the kids' birthday messages expressing their concern, but thus far, Diddy's children still seem to have his back. As recently as October, Christian shared a home video with his dad and siblings and wrote "WE LOVE YOU POPS!! #DIDDYFREE" as the caption.
