Say it with us now: Who is that?
After the longest hiatus to-date, The Masked Singer is almost back and promising to be better than ever with what is set to be a massive season 14. And while we don't know exactly who is underneath all of the new masks (yet!), we do already know a lot about them and what to expect from the zany new episodes.
To prepare, Entertainment Weekly is rounding up everything we know so far about season 14 of The Masked Singer, below.
When does The Masked Singer season 14 premiere and how can I watch?
The new season debuts Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox with a special two-hour premiere, and new episodes dropping weekly thereafter. Viewers can catch up on the show on Hulu, Fox.com, Tubi, and On Demand. On Demand episodes are available for customers of Cox Contour TV, DIRECTV, DISH, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, Optimum, Spectrum, Verizon FiOS, XFINITY, YouTube TV, and many more.
Who are The Masked Singer panelists and host?
Nick Cannon and his lineup of bedazzled suits and tuxes are back once more to host the series, as are longtime panelists Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, plus more recent addition Rita Ora. Fox has also revealed some starry guests tied to this season's new themed nights — more on that below.
What are The Masked Singer season 14 costumes?
In total, there will be 18 wild new costumes to ooh, ahh, and scream at this season. So far, Fox has announced 14 Karat Carrot, Owl, Calla Lily, Googly Eyes, Snowcone, High Voltage, Eggplant, Pugcasso, Queen Corgi, Scarab, The Croissants, and Galaxy Girl.

Galaxy Girl on the special two-hour Season 14 premiere of 'The Masked Singer'Who is under the masks on The Masked Singer season 14?!
Obviously, we can't tell you that (but keep reading for one big reveal!). However, Fox has revealed that accolades for the contestants include: 94 million records sold, 21 platinum singles, 3 Emmy wins, 3 hall of famers, 3 World Series wins, and more than 54,438,800 Instagram followers. The network has also teased that they boast "the most decorated contestants in the show’s history, and an unprecedented unmasking that will send shockwaves through the competition!"
What are the themed nights for The Masked Singer?
As EW previously exclusively revealed, this season's themes are some of the biggest yet. Perhaps the most noteworthy is a special musical anthology episode, “Ozzfest,” honoring legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July at 76. The tribute is said to feature an appearance by his daughter, Kelly, who previously competed on TMS as the Ladybug in season 2, and joins the show once more to pay heartfelt homage to her father and his iconic career and long-lasting impact on the history of music.
Other themed nights include one inspired by the upcoming 60th anniversary of Star Trek, the ‘90s classic teen comedy Clueless, and the beloved animated heroes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The season also plans to reignite the Team Jacob vs. Team Edward debate with a night dedicated to the blockbuster film franchise The Twilight Saga. It will also channel the ultimate girl power with a Spice Girls celebration, and for all the families watching, bring the joyful, colorful world of Care Bears to the stage, as well.
And, to balance out the cute and cuddly, the competition will take a frightful turn with “Fear Night,” featuring none other than Fear Factor: House of Fear host Johnny Knoxville, who joins as a special guest to deliver clues — and a few creepy crawlies — in true Masked Singer style. Yikes.

Queen Corgi on the special two-hour Season 14 premiere of 'The Masked Singer'Are there any big twists in The Masked Singer season 14?
Yes, for the first time ever, one of the contestants is unmasking themself before the season even premieres, and taking viewers behind the scenes of their journey on the show. On Dec. 10, that person made themself known to the world, and she is none other than singer and Descendants star Kylie Cantrall. On her own Instagram account, Cantrall announced the news with a fun video from backstage, teasing, "I'll be working for [the viewers] and sharing my strategy to throw off Nick, Robin, Jenny, Ken, and my onscreen mom, Rita." (Cantrall has appeared as Red, the daughter of Ora's Queen of Hearts, in both 2024's Descendants: The Rise of Red and the upcoming Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.)
Cantrall added that fans should tune into the premiere and promised she'd be "posting something on my page and maybe spilling some tea" from the show in the future. As for which of the masks she will be competing under, viewers will have to wait until the premiere to find out, but Cantrall will provide clues beforehand, naturally. For more on how all of that is going to work, check out EW's breakdown of the shocker.
What is the show format this time around?
Fox has not revealed if there is any special format or groupings or twists to this season yet. Stay tuned!
