Shimkus revealed her pregnancy in March with a gender reveal cake showing she was expecting another boy

Carley Shimkus’ family has grown by one more.

The Fox & Friends First co-host, 39, welcomed her second baby, a boy named Harrison, with her husband, Peter Buchignani. Shimkus announced the news on the Monday, July 27 episode of the morning show, and although she was not physically on the show, her co-hosts helped share the news.

“And we have a brand-new member of the Fox & Friends family, Carley Shimkus, giving birth to her son, Harrison,” said Fox News correspondent Ashley Strohmier. “And we are so happy to report both mom and baby are doing great.”

“And baby Harrison joins his big brother, Brock. And those two — I think those two look so similar, Brock and Harrison,” continued Storhmier. “They’re so precious.”

Shimkus announced in March that she was pregnant and expecting her second baby with Buchignani. She posted a series of photos on her Instagram, revealing that she was going to be a boy mom again.

“Big brother training starts now 💙 Baby boy #2 arriving in July!” Shimkus wrote. She included photos of a white cake with blue and pink bows. When they cut inside, it revealed blue frosting that signified she was having another boy.

Just a few weeks ago, Shimkus shared a few videos and photos on her Instagram as she took a minute to reflect before welcoming her second baby.

“As we are getting ready to welcome a new baby, I am reflecting on so many happy memories as a family of three with my very funny, high energy boy ❤️,” said Shimkus in her caption. “I can’t wait to meet the little one who will grow our hearts even more!”
