In addition to the most outrageous flavor combinations and over-the-top collaborations, some brands are offering some serious deals this April Fools' Day
On April 1, customers can visit places like Dunkin’ for some free caffeine and Hooters for a delicious bite
Brands like BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse and HALLS are also releasing questionable new flavor combinations in celebration of the holiday
These April Fools' Day deals are no joke.
While not much can be truly trusted on a holiday centered around pranks and mischief, a few companies have committed to providing their customers with some serious deals — although they may feature some of the most outrageous flavors, including cough drops that taste like the inside of your grandma’s purse.
Even though some of the innovative new flavor combinations and over-the-top collaborations might come from a place of pure jest, many of these deals also have a rare validity to them.
Here are which companies have a real deal for you on April 1:

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: BJ’s is mixing two of their legendary favorites for an unexpected new menu item: the Sweet Heat Pepperoni Pizookie. While the one-day-only innovation will only be available for dine-in on April 1, the warm Chocolate Chunk Pizookie paired with vanilla ice cream, pepperoni and Mike’s Hot Honey makes for a combination you won’t want to miss.
"We've always believed that great ideas can come from unexpected places," Heidi Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer at BJ's Restaurants, said in a press release. "The Sweet Heat Pepperoni Pizookie is our most fearless creation yet, bringing together the warm comfort of our world famous Pizookie with flavors inspired by our revamped pizza. It's creative, intentional, and fun — and April Fools' Day felt like the perfect moment to launch this."
Burger King: While Burger King has previously been known for marketing their “Left-Handed Whopper” and Whopper toothpaste, April Fools' Day conveniently falls on $3.99 Whopper Wednesday this year.

Dairy Queen: Since the mischievous holiday coincides with the release of Dairy Queen’s new summer flavors, the fast food chain is offering a Buy One, Get One for 99¢ deal on any size Blizzard Treat, available in the DQ Mobile App.
Del Taco: In celebration of the iconic “Freeeshavacado” video that went viral 10 years ago, Del Taco is offering their Epic Grilled Chicken Fresh Guacamole Burrito for $5 until April 1.

Domino’s: From Feb. 23 through April 6, Domino’s is offering any pizza with up to seven toppings for $9.99 each, excluding XL and Specialty pizzas.
Dunkin' Donuts: Just like last year, Dunkin’ is keeping things real by giving away a million — or 1,000,001 to make the deal even bolder — free hot or iced coffees of any size with the promo code STILLNOTAJOKE.

Dutch Bros: Since April Fools' Day falls on the first Wednesday of the month, Dutch Bros is offering a free sticker with any drink purchase, beginning at 5 a.m., while supplies last.
HALLS: The iconic brand behind the cough drop is unveiling a new flavor to pay homage to the trusted keepers of HALLS cough drops, who are bound to have a few stuffed in their purse. With their new Grandma’s Purse flavor, HALLS’ newest cough drops will provide a true vintage taste, aged to perfection, with hints of lavender and lint.

Hooters: Hooters is not fooling around this year. On April 1, the chain is offering 10 wings — bone-in or boneless — for only $3.99.
Olive Garden: Throughout all of April, Olive Garden is offering its popular “Buy Once, Take One” deal, allowing guests to purchase one entrée at $14.99 to receive a second, chilled entrée for free.

QDOBA: Rather than April Fools' Day, QDOBA chose to celebrate the full moon by offering a free medium Queso & Chips to customers all day on April 1.
Shipley Donuts: Shipley Donuts is nothing if not serious this April Fools' Day. To prove it, the donut chain is offering a taste of the New Kolache Dippers and Rowdy Ranch to loyalty members for free.
Subway: Stepping away from the joking nature of the holiday, Subway is offering all Sub Club members a free footlong sandwich with the purchase of another footlong from April 1 through April 28.
"We're all getting less for our money lately, given the price at the pump, rising rents, utilities, and groceries," Dave Skena, the Chief Marketing Officer for North America, said in a press release. "So we're offering our Sub Club members a great deal on their favorite freshly made sandwiches all month long."
The Cheesecake Factory: To celebrate the launch of their very real new Cheesecake Factory App, the restaurant chain is offering a free slice of cheesecake with any purchase to any customer who downloads the app by April 30. And despite the timing of this deal, it is very much real.
