Jenna Bush Hager gave Sheinelle Jones and Scarlett Johansson the heebie-jeebies by sharing a ghost story on Today.

The cohost opened up about the paranormal experiences she had while living in the White House.

She and her twin sister, Barbara Pierce Bush, lived there during their father’s presidency.

Halloween may be over, but Jenna Bush Hager isn’t done telling ghost stories.

The Today host stunned her cohost Sheinelle Jones and guest Scarlett Johansson when she revealed that she experienced multiple instances of unexplained supernatural phenomena while living in the White House during her father George W. Bush’s presidency.

“I believe in ghosts. We had ghosts in our house. We had to get a ghost whisperer [to] come and get them out,” Bush Hager said on Thursday’s episode. “Oh yeah. In the house I live in, but also in the White House.”

Johansson was taken aback by the revelation. “What?!” the actress exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air. “Oh my God, is this? Do people know this? You said this publicly? That there was a ghost in the White House when you were living there?”

To which Bush Hager confidently responded, “Yes!”

And Bush Hager wasn’t the only one who felt the presence of the unidentified entity, either. “Barbara was with me,” she said, referring to her twin sister, Barbara Pierce Bush. “The first time she wasn’t and she didn’t believe me, and then two nights later she was sleeping with me.”

Johansson immediately had questions. “Who was it?” she pressed. Bush Hager replied, “Somebody scary. No! They were friendly. They didn’t come and harm [us].”

When the Avengers alum asked what shape the spirit took, Bush Hager said it came to her in the form of music. “It was like 1920s music that came out of the fireplace,” she said, prompting Johansson to shout, “WHAT!?”

Bush Hager explained that her sister Barbara initially called her a “liar” about the situation, but quickly changed her tune after hearing the music herself.

“Two nights later, it was opera. We both heard it. Chills,” she said. “And, also, we were asleep and were in college — so people called us late, now nobody does — somebody woke me up, and Barbara’s like, ‘Who’s calling? Go back to bed.’ And that’s when we heard it.”

She continued, “Middle of the night. Out of a fireplace. Like, you could almost feel it.”

“Oh my God!” Johansson said. “That’s insane!”

The pair kept talking about Bush Hager’s experience even after the show cut to break. “Isn’t that so crazy?” Bush Hager said, with Johansson replying, “I’m so shocked!”
