Jennifer Lawrence makes fashion callback to Beyoncé's Met Gala look -

The actress' look drew similarities from the similarly naked dress Beyoncé wore to the 2015 Met Gala
The question is: Will Lawrence attend the 2026 Met Gala with Beyoncé, who will be returning to the event for the first time in 10 years?
The 2026 Golden Globes red carpet was not to be missed.
Anyone who is anyone in film and television showed out for Hollywood's big night of glamour and glitz. There were many memorable ensembles from Hailee Steinfeld's bump-baring gown, the studs of Heated Rivalry (aka Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie) making a case for their signature menswear and Pamela Anderson going back to blonde. But let's just say, there was one star in particular whose look served as major callback to one of the most iconic fashion moments of all time.

On Sunday, Jan. 11, Jennifer Lawrence made a jaw-dropping entrance in a sheer plunging custom Givenchy gown. The design featured side cutouts and strategically placed floral embroidery and was paired with a embroidered floral powder pink collar â which she ditched for an extra cheeky shot of her backside (naturally).
Of course, those keeping a close eye on the past decade's fashion might have a bit of dĂ©jĂ vu brought on by BeyoncĂ©'s 2015 Met Gala Givenchy gown, which was similar in nakedness with a sheer butt-baring bejeweled train â and a seemingly gossamer design that was no match for its mighty weight. Her then-stylist Ty Hunter revealed to WWD that it was actually one of the heaviest dresses she's ever worn.

Also playing tricks on the eyes was the Golden Globes carpet itself, which could've easily been mistaken for the fashion ball's famous steps in New York City, where stars of the past, present and future show off their fabulous attire every first Monday in May. That's because the Globes do look a little different this year, thanks to construction on the Beverly Hilton, the iconic hotel that's housed the awards show for decades.
Rather than unfolding inside the hotel's corridors and covered walkways as it has in years past, the carpet moved completely outdoors, taking up nearly 500 feet along Wilshire Boulevard. The story behind the steps in the words of production designer Jitter Garcia: âWe wanted it to feel like motion, not posing. Almost like a runway." The dramatic looks were also taken into consideration. âWe were very intentional about the measurements of the steps,â Garcia said. âWe were thinking about the skirts, the trains, the heels.â
Perhaps Lawrence's speculated nod to the "Texas Hold 'Em" singer might hint at a future Met Gala invitation. Her return to the red carpet with the release of her latest film, Die My Love, makes her a shoo-in to attend. After all, Beyoncé herself will be making her highly anticipated comeback at the 2026 Met Gala for the first time in 10 years as co-chair.
