Glambot mastermind Cole Walliser is setting the record straight about Jennifer Lopez’s viral Glambot at the 2026 Golden Globes.
In a new Instagram video shared on Jan. 18, Walliser put an end to accusations that the Kiss of the Spider Woman star, 56, was rude to him on the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Jan. 11.
Walliser, who has 4.6 million Instagram followers, was directing the Glambot — a high-speed camera that captures slow-motion videos of celebrities as they pose — when Lopez appeared in her nude gown.
While getting into position for the Glambot, Lopez had her back toward Walliser as he directed her. A behind-the-scenes video of the moment showed her posing for the camera and then walking away with a wave.

While fans have accused the singer-actress of being rude during the interaction, Walliser said that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
"I didn't take it personally. It didn't feel rude in that moment," he said in his new video, before talking about his interaction with Lopez. "I think there's a couple things that added to the fuel of this idea. One, she's just down to business. The carpet was closed. She's ready to go inside. She knew what she was gonna do. She got into the position."

"It's just unfortunate that the position was she was facing away from me. So I am talking to her, she is looking away, but she's getting ready for the move," Walliser explained. "In the moment, I'm not like, 'Hey, turn around and look.' I knew what she was doing."
Walliser added that Lopez was just preparing for her Glambot moment, saying, "I knew she was getting ready. I knew it was late. We were just getting through it. That moment didn't feel rude."
Walliser admitted elsewhere in the video that red carpet events are typically "a really crazy environment." When people approach his Glambot station, sometimes they are confused.
"Sometimes they don't know what they're walking up to. You know what I mean? And I'm not just talking about J.Lo here. I'm talking about a ton of celebrities in the past that sort of land, and they're like, ‘What's going on?’ It's just because it's just so crazy," he said.
Walliser concluded by stating that he has never once felt that a celebrity mistreated him. "I've never felt anybody was rude to me. I think people are at work. They're rushed. The world is crazy, and I never take it personal," he said.
Walliser then expressed his gratitude for the support he’s received. "I do want to thank you guys for watching the content, for commenting, for having my back on things. I love all you guys. It's been so cool to see these Glambots grow over the years," he said.
Walliser has also directed videos for P!nk, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears.
