Lady Gaga’s absence from the spotlight has sparked rumors that she and fiancé Michael Polansky secretly married and relocated to Northern California, but sources say neither claim is true.
The speculation intensified after reports claimed the 40-year-old singer had become difficult for friends to contact following the end of her Mayhem Ball world tour.
"No one has seen or heard from Lady Gaga," one source claimed, fueling theories that the couple may have quietly exchanged vows away from the public eye. The news follows Lady Gaga secretly welcoming her first baby with fiancé Michael Polansky, explaining her absence from the public.

The milestone comes after Gaga repeatedly spoke about her desire to raise children, describing motherhood as one of her most important personal ambitions.
During a YouTube video published in December 2019, the singer outlined some of the goals she hoped to accomplish over the following decade. Along with expanding her career beyond music, Gaga said starting a family was part of the future she envisioned.
"I want to do more movies, I want to have babies," she said at the time.

Sources with direct knowledge of the couple’s relationship told TMZ that Gaga and Polansky remain engaged and have not tied the knot.
Close relatives reportedly saw the pair within the past several weeks and were aware that no wedding had taken place.
The couple also reportedly continues to live in Malibu, despite separate claims that they had moved to Marin County in Northern California.

Gaga and Polansky may have recently visited the area, but sources denied that they had permanently relocated.
Gaga has maintained a lower public profile since completing her Mayhem Ball tour in April. Her final concert was held April 13 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
"I love you all so much. I can't believe this is the last show," Gaga told the audience during the performance.
She also thanked fans for supporting the tour and her career.
"I hope that you know how much you all mean to me," she said. "I hope you know how much we will all miss you."
Gaga later skipped the 2026 Met Gala, an especially notable absence given her history of delivering memorable looks at the annual fashion event. One of her last major appearances during that period came at the April premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in New York.
She has not disappeared entirely, however. Gaga recently shared a makeup tutorial displaying her minimalist beauty routine and the large oval-cut engagement ring Polansky gave her.

The couple also attended the July wedding of Gaga’s longtime manager and close friend Bobby Campbell and Robert García at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
Gaga reportedly remained out of the spotlight during the celebration and did not perform at the reception.
The marriage rumors gained further attention because Gaga previously said the couple planned to wed in the near future. "Me and my fiancé have been traveling all year, but we're getting married soon," Gaga said in a March message to Bruno Mars during his Romantic Radio livestream.
She also asked Mars to help choose music for their celebration.
"We were hoping you could choose a special song for us," Gaga said. Gaga and Polansky became engaged in 2024.
