What happened at Ainsley's Cheer Camp in Landman?

Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) realized being a high school cheerleader was nothing compared to being a college cheerleader. Her first day at cheer camp showed her that cheerleaders are elite athletes as well. Ainsley's ferret-loving ex-roommate, Paigyn (Bobbi Salvör Menuez), is also one of the team's physical therapists. They notice Ainsley's weak ankles and preemptively tapes it up for her. A surprised Ainsley thanks her and goes back to training. When a group of high school boys start catcalling the cheerleaders from the bleachers, the girls ignore them, but when they start to make fun of Paigyn and their androgynous appearance, Ainsley runs over there to defend them and turns the tables on them. Embarassed, the boys leave, and Paigyn sort of apologizes for her behavior. Ainsley offers to give being roommates another try - as long as they give the ferret a bath.

What happened with Ariana's assault on the Landman finale?

When Cooper (Jacob Lofland) and Ariana (Paulina Chavez) head to the Odessa police station to report Ariana's assault, they are both dumbfounded when the tables are turned on them. While Ariana is the clear victim in the assault, Cooper is being interrogated as if he were the culprit. After his beatdown of Ariana's attacker, Johnny (Mike Harkins), the man landed in the hospital, where he ultimately died. The bar's security cam footage showed Cooper hitting the guy 17 times when he could have and should have stopped way before then. When Ariana realizes what's happening, she calls the only lawyer she knows: Rebecca (Kayla Wallace). Rebecca instructs her to walk into the interrogation room without knocking, put her on speaker, set it on the table, and tell Cooper to stop talking. Ariana does what she says. Once Rebecca gets there, she lays on the cops, which stops them cold.As she heads for the police station, she calls Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) and informs him what's happening. Tommy immediately calls Sheriff Joeberg (Mark Collie) to get more information on charges laid on Cooper. All the while, Tommy is yelling at God for everything that has been going on and barely avoids a multi-car pileup after Angela calls to yell at him for not telling her that he got fired from M-Tex. Tommy calls a meeting with Sheriff Joeberg, County Attorney Devin Allsup (Joseph Finfer), and Chief of Police Hector Ramoz (Abel Becerra) and convinces them that murder charges against Cooper sends the wrong message to their constituents.

What happened to M-Tex Oil in the Landman finale?

Cami (Demi Moore) discovers Monty (Jon Hamm) never kept digital records of his many M-Tex transactions, but did keep paper ones, something she tells Nathan (Colm Feore) upon his arrival after she beckons him to her office. He informs her that Monty did this so that the files could be destroyed if there was any litigation against the company. With Tommy fired, Cami offers Nathan the job of M-Tex president, which he politely declines. He tells her that Monty designed the company to be sold and offered to help her sell it. He also offered her his resignation.

Does Tommy find another job on Landman?

Sort of. Between all the crises, Tommy found a way to get Cooper's murder charges dropped, borrowed a cool $44 million from Gallino (Andy Garcia), and had Nathan create a new corporation after Bob (Colin Ferguson) advised him to do everything on the up and up or he would get burned. He asked key players to meet him at one of Cooper's wells ,where he informed them that they had leases on all the surrounding land and all the wells they had drilled hit which meant they had an oil company. The group around him was now profit-sharing employees (if they wanted to join). With jobs most of them already were doing, Tommy named Cooper as president, Tommy as senior vice president, Nathan as Treasurer, Rebecca as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Counsel, Dale (James Jordan) as Head of Exploration, Boss (Mustafa Speaks) as Crew Chief, T. L. (Sam Elliott) overseeing drilling, and Ariana as office manager. The newly formed CTT Exploration and Cattle Company was born. The company landman finally became his own landman. Even God couldn't ruin his day today.

Who is Judy Ann Prachyl on Landman?

The Season 2 finale was dedicated to Judy Ann Prachyl "The Nursing Home OG". The best we could make out was Prachyl, who died on Dec. 18, 2025, was known to Taylor Sheridan and his family. She was also an avid fan of Yellowstone.

Is Billy Bob Thornton leaving Landman?

After Thornton's character got fired in the penultimate episode of Landman, rumors began flying that Thornton was leaving the show and that his character was being written off. As far as we know, this is not true. The series was created and the character of Tommy Norris written with Thornton in mind from Day One, so it's unlikely they'll replace him with another. Essentially, if Thornton chooses to leave the show, it'll likely also be the end of the series. Since the show has already been renewed for a third season, we can rest assured Tommy Norris will be around for at least another ten episodes.
