LeAnn Rimes was seen experiencing a "deep jaw release" in an Instagram video shared on Sunday, March 29

ā€œOh my God, you just don’t realize how much tension is in there,ā€ said Rimes after the therapeutic treatment

The technique for relieving tension comes after the singer recently spoke about wanting to "take the best care" of her body

LeAnn Rimes is overwhelmed with emotion after undergoing a 60-second procedure to relieve tension in her jaw.

On Sunday, March 29, Human Garage — a self-care provider that specializes in fascial maneuvers — shared a video on Instagram of Rimes, 43, experiencing their ā€œdeep jaw releaseā€ technique with their co-founder, Garry Lineham.

The country singer is heard repeatedly saying ā€œoh my Godā€ as Lineham places one of his hands inside her mouth and a second person holds her head still while she lies on a cushion. Having been comforted throughout the procedure, Rimes is left shocked by its results and bursts into tears.

ā€œSay that part of my life is over,ā€ Lineham instructs her in the video, with Rimes replying, ā€œThat part of my life better be over.ā€

Rimes’s crying quickly turned to laughter as she placed one hand on the side of her jaw that Lineham had just worked on.

ā€œOh my God, you just don’t realize how much tension is in there,ā€ she said.

ā€œUntil it’s gone,ā€ Lineham chimed in.

The caption of the video explained the purpose of the therapeutic technique, while encouraging viewers to get in contact to try it for themselves.

ā€œHealing isn't always quiet. Sometimes it’s a physical letting go of things we didn't even know we were carrying. šŸ•Šļø,ā€ Human Garage wrote.

Describing their ā€œdeep jaw releaseā€ treatment as ā€œpowerful,ā€ the self-care provider emphasized how much it benefited the ā€œHow Do I Liveā€ singer.

ā€œYou can see the exact moment the tension breaks and the emotional weight lifts, leaving her feeling visibly lighter and more aligned. 🌊,ā€ Human Garage wrote of Rimes. ā€œThe jaw is one of the body’s primary storage sites for stress.

ā€œWhen we hold back our voice or push through pressure, the fascia in the face and neck ā€˜locks’ to protect us,ā€ they added. ā€œBy using the maneuvers to signal safety to the nervous system, we can finally allow that stored energy to move. šŸ§¬ā€

Jaw exercises can be beneficial for relieving temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain, according to Medical News Today and Healthline. The joint connects the mandible (lower jaw) to the skull, just under the ears.

TMJ dysfunction can affect the neck, shoulders, face and teeth, per the medical news outlets. It can be identified by pain when chewing, swallowing, speaking, as well as clicking of the jaw and restricted movement.

Other symptoms include headaches, earaches and pain in the face.

Rimes’ visit to Human Garage comes after her fake teeth fell out while performing "One Way Ticket" during her show at The Skagit Casino Resort in Washington in June 2025.

Following the incident, the Coyote Ugly star revealed in a video uploaded to Instagram that she was undergoing a "plasma exchange" at Next Health in Nashville for a second time.

"Listening to my body and choosing what feels supportive for this season of healing, especially after a very busy year of filming and touring," Rimes captioned the clip on Jan. 15. "I demand so much from my body and it’s incredibly important to me to take the best care of it I possibly can."

She explained that the $10,000 treatment helps to "clear micro-toxins, such as mold and microplastics and this time, I’ve added stem cells to encourage overall repair..."

ā€œI also want to say this with care, I’m very aware that access to treatments like this isn’t universal,ā€ Rimes added. ā€œI share with sensitivity and humility, not as a prescription, but as information about what’s been working for me.ā€
