Neeson and Stocker have starred together in three films, including the upcoming action-thriller The Mongoose

Liam Neeson and Stella Stocker stepped out together at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival.

The Irish actor, 74, and the British actress, who star in the upcoming action-thriller The Mongoose, attended the premiere of Courteney Cox’s new film Evil Genius at the Canadian festival.

Neeson and Stocker — who also starred together in two 2022 films, Memory and Marlowe — held hands as they walked the red carpet. At one point, Stocker could be seen grabbing and lightly squeezing Neeson’s arm, footage captured by PEOPLE shows.

The pair wore coordinated looks, with the Oscar-nominated actor sporting a black shirt and matching leather jacket, and his Mongoose costar wearing a sleeveless, cowl-neck maxi dress in the same shade.

During his surprise appearance at Saturday’s Evil Genius premiere, Neeson posed for photos with star David Harbour and friend Cox, who directed and co-produced the film based on the 2003 “pizza bomber” case. The action star could also be seen giving the Friends alum, 62, a hug at the event.

A rep for Neeson did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. PEOPLE reached out to a rep for Stocker for comment on Sunday, Sept. 13, but did not receive an immediate response.

In Neeson and Stocker’s third and latest movie together, The Mongoose, the Irish actor stars as Ryan “Fang” Flanagan, a man caught up in a crime he didn’t commit, per an official synopsis. “With nothing to lose,” the synopsis says, he “leads law enforcement on a cross-country car chase with the help of his brothers in arms and a sympathetic public rooting for his getaway.”

Marisa Tomei also stars in the action-thriller — which arrives in theaters on Oct. 30 — as Fang’s concerned ex-wife Tara. Stocker plays a character called Helene, per IMDb.

Neeson’s appearance with Stocker comes after his headline-making romance with Pamela Anderson.

The Naked Gun costars struck up a romance after making the 2025 legacy sequel together. In July of that year, a source close to the comedy film confirmed to PEOPLE that the castmates were in the midst of “a budding romance in the early stages,” and Anderson, 59, later spoke about their brief relationship in a PEOPLE cover story.

“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while, but only after we finished filming,” Anderson told PEOPLE in late 2025.

The pair had a “romantic lost week,” after which they went their “separate ways to work on other films,” but later reconnected while promoting The Naked Gun, the actress said at the time. Of the costars’ romance, Anderson told PEOPLE, “I always was laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’ I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings.’ ”

Neeson has previously found romance with other costars, dating Helen Mirren after meeting on the set of 1981’s Excalibur and developing feelings for his late wife Natasha Richardson when the two starred on Broadway together.

Richardson died on March 18, 2009, at the age of 45. She and Neeson welcomed two sons together, Micheál, 31, and Daniel, 30.
