An old cooking video of Meghan Markle has resurfaced on social media amid the Duchess of Sussex's latest TV appearance.

The 44-year-old mother-of-two recently joined MasterChef Australia as a surprise guest judge after it was revealed earlier this week that she would be appearing on the beloved cooking show, which airs on Channel 10.

She walked into the kitchen after footage was filmed during her visit to Australia with Prince Harry in April. It comes asa royal expert slams her 'vulgar act' as Prince William left 'fuming.'

Meghan has become a cooking enthusiast, with her lifestyle and cooking brand, As Ever, officially launching in April 2025. She has also showcased her culinary skills in her Netflix shows.

However, fans were quick to point out that Meghan appeared to struggle in the kitchen, with some claiming she has "no business" judging others on the show.

The resurfaced clip showed the mother-of-two struggling to chop onions while cooking in her California kitchen.

On X, one person said, "She was given one of the most exclusive televised cooking shows to ever be made, and this is her level of chopping skills."

Another person said, "One of the many reminders why Meghan has no business judging anyone's food #MasterchefAU."

A third person chimed in, "For a start the chopping board should not be that crowded - just dreadful."

"Nobody holds a knife like that to chop vegetables. This is highly embarrassing.," a fourth person penned.

It follows reports claiming Meghan and members of her team were left unhappy after allegedly asking MasterChef Australia producers not to refer to her as 'royalty' following Poh Ling's introduction to her.

According to New Idea, the introduction left Poh feeling "upset."

"It wasn't about Meghan personally," a source told the publication. "Poh felt she had been unintentionally drawn into a royal protocol issue she never intended to be part of."

A separate insider alleged Poh had hoped to contact Meghan directly to apologise, but was advised to let the production team deal with the situation instead.

"She was willing to reach out immediately," the source said. "But she was advised to leave it for production to handle."
