Attending as a nominee for Best Original Song, the singer, 33, flashed her new engagement ring from fiancé Maxx Morando on the red carpet.

Another standout? Cyrus, recognized for Avatar: Fire and Ash's song "Dream as One," wore a black floor-length sequin gown that featured dramatic fanned-out details on top of its sleeves. Accessorizing the low neckline was a black pendant necklace. Her hair, which she just recently turned Hannah Montana blonde, was styled in waves with a bit of a tousle for that rock-and-roll edge she's most known for.

Shortly after PEOPLE confirmed Cyrus and Morando's engagement in December 2025, Francesca Simons of Francesca Simons Consulting, a rep for jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche, confirmed that Aiche made the bride-to-be's "bespoke" ring. The sparkler boasts a cushion-cut stone set on a thick, 14-karat yellow gold band that experts believe have a price tag of anywhere between $150,000 to $450,000.

Last month, a source told PEOPLE that "Miley is thrilled to be engaged," adding, “The ring is so her. It has a cool, boho-rock vibe to it. It's beautiful. She didn't feel the need to announce her engagement. Maxx is very private, and it's influencing how she lives her life now."

Cyrus and 27-year-old Morando, who plays drums for the band Liily, have been living together for years. “She really thrives with him. They hang out a lot at home and love creating music together. It's exactly the life she's wanted."

She's still trying to wrap her head around her new relationship status, though. "I'm kind of the dorkiest with stuff like that," she told Entertainment Tonight, adding that she "gets so cringed out" referring to Morando as her fiancé (Cyrus was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth).

The pair were first linked in December 2021, photographed cozying up backstage during Cyrus' NBC holiday special, Miley's New Year's Eve Party, in Miami. The two seemingly went public with their romance months later, in April 2022, when they were spotted kissing out in West Hollywood.

Cyrus has been attending the Golden Globes since 2009, Last awards season, she made a skin-baring statement in a Celine by Hedi Slimane gown with embroidered cutouts that debuted her new "songs" tattoo. Her edgy updo was styled by Bob Recine and "a cross between Debbie Harry and Japanese cartoon characters, while still feeling undone and a little bit punk.”

That January, Cyrus also reunited with Demi Moore 13 years after they worked together on the film LOL. In a fan-captured video, Cyrus could be seen blowing kisses at Moore as she walked by, and the Substance star stopping to greet her.
