Nicholas Hoult and his wife Bryana Holly quietly welcomed twins last year.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Hoult’s How to Rob a Bank costar Pete Davidson revealed that the couple is now parents of four after they welcomed twins before filming began.
“He’s a great dad. Father of four,” said Davidson, 32. “Four under what, 7? Which is nuts.”
“Elsie was pregnant while we were filming and he just had his twins, and he would fly back every weekend to go see his family, and that was very inspiring and awesome,” added Davidson, who welcomed his first baby, daughter Scottie, with ex Elsie Hewitt in December.
Reps for Hoult didn’t immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Hoult, 36, and Holly, 33, are also parents to son Joaquin, 7, and another child born in 2022, whose name and sex have not been revealed.
The couple prefers to keep their personal life private; however, the Skins alum opened up about his oldest during the press tour for Superman.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham, Hoult noted that shaving his head for his role as the villain Lex Luthor in Superman was the first time he had shaved his head since he costarred in 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road. At the time, Hoult shared that his son Joaquin was the one who took the clippers to his head.
“It’s growing back gradually. Yeah, but I did shave my head, which I find quite liberating whenever I’ve done it for roles,” Hoult said. “I kind of enjoyed that. This time, I let my older son get the clippers out and do it for me, which was [fun].”
Back in April 2024, Hoult was seen spending time with Joaquin when the father-son duo sat together courtside at an Atlanta Hawks home game, sometime after filming began. The two, who were making their first public appearance together, looked focused on the game as they had their picture taken.

Joaquin wore a Hawks jersey and had a stuffed basketball player in his hand, leaning his right arm on his father’s leg. Debuting a freshly shaved head, Hoult smiled as he talked with his son.
While promoting The Menu in 2022, Hoult told PEOPLE that he likes to cook when he isn’t filming. However, the actor admitted that his and Holly’s son might be his toughest critic.
“You get honest, instant feedback from a 4-year-old,” he said. “He will turn straight around, and he’s like, ‘This isn’t very good, Dad.’”
“But then when you do get it right and you cook something great, you get a big thumbs-up. It’s a great age.”
