North West isn't letting up on her subtle clapbacks.
The 12-year-old, whose parents are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, went on Instagram Live, during which she addressed a comment about her new black grills.
During the Jan. 26 livestream, which was reshared to X, the tween said, "Why is my teeth black? Are we okay?" before confirming that the accessory was in fact temporary. "I could take them out," she added after showing off her teeth.
North debuted the bold fashion choice on her TikTok back in December, along with face jewelry, which was not confirmed to be real piercings. She's also been sparking buzz around her many finger piercings — first when she stepped out with them in Rome on a date with Kardashian in September, and then earlier this month when she showed off her new body modifications.
And in response to the criticism, North has stood her ground. Last month, she posted a TikTok video addressing backlash on her jewelry, writing, "This is for everyone that's mad over a finger piercing."
The growing trendsetter even went as far as defending her style in a new song made with her musical dad, Kanye. In "Piercing on My Hand (Ye Version)," which was shared to North's Instagram Stories, she raps, "Piercing on my hand, the other holding bands," and "No friends, just filter, you wouldn’t understand."
Kardashian has spoken up about her parenting style with North amid the public outrage. Appearing on an episode of the Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, the SKIMS founder, 45, backed her decision to let her eldest wear certain types of clothing, piercings and fake tattoos, along with her now signature blue wig.
"I'm just not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it," she began. "But, I think that no one knows unless they're in my shoes what I'm dealing with and how we have to manage certain things from the outside world or even close in our life that we have to go through together."

The mom of four went on to share the one big misunderstanding she believes everyone has when it comes to her relationship with North.
"I think like the one misconception that people might have is like, 'Oh, she's trying to be her bestie and lets her get away with a lot.' Like, no, Northy actually has a lot of rules. [That's the] one area I do let her express herself," she explained. "I love her for that, and she would do it, you know, regardless."
