Amid his return to the UK, Prince Harry‘s significant plan for PrinceArchie has come to light once again. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have moved back to Britain six years after stepping back from royal duties. Accompanying them are seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, and the news is that they will start school in Britain.

Here’s whether Prince Harry will send Archie to Eton

Prince Harry is back in the UK, accompanied by his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. According to reports, the Sussexes intend to remain for an “extended” stay.

While the Duke has said he wants to show his children his home country, there is one thing he has ruled out. Harry has made it clear that sending Prince Archie to Eton in the future is not part of his plan. For those unfamiliar, Eton College is a prestigious British boarding school for boys aged 13 to 18.

As reported by the Daily Express, a spokesman for Prince Harry has now clarified the matter, stating: “I can confirm that Prince Harry has not registered Archie for Eton and the Duke has no plans to send his son to Eton.”

Prince Harry did not have a positive experience at the prestigious school, unlike his elder brother Prince William, who reportedly excelled there. The youngest son of King Charles has confessed that he never quite felt at home at Eton. In his 2023 memoir Spare, he revealed that he struggled to fit into any one sports group at school.

In a 2023 interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes, the Duke described an emotional moment from the start of his school life. He disclosed that upon arriving at Eton, William asked him to pretend they didn’t know each other. “At the time, it hurt,” he shared, before adding, “I couldn’t make sense of it. I was like, ‘What do you mean? We’re now at the same school.’”

The non-working royal went on to explain that he made the decision himself. He also acknowledged that such behavior is fairly common among older siblings trying to establish their own identity.
