Prince Harry is reportedly making a television film on Princess Diana after his headline-making return to the UK. However, there is reportedly another interesting element, which is the casting of Meghan Markle in a crucial role. For those unversed, as per multiple reports, the Sussexes flew from California to Birmingham on August 26. The couple plans to stay in the UK for an extended period of time along with their children, Archie and Lilibet.

According to RobShuter, Prince Harry is keen on producing a television movie on his late mother, Princess Diana, after his surprise return to the UK. Interestingly, Meghan Markle has been recruited for an important role: to narrate the film.
The Duke of Sussex has reportedly already commenced the process of reaching out to his late mother’s friends and associates ahead of her 30th death anniversary next year. Markle has tremendous acting experience and is hence considered the best choice to narrate the film.
A production insider dished: “Meghan isn’t getting a cameo — she’s becoming the voice of Diana’s story. That makes her a central figure in the film. Harry may be the son, but Meghan will be the voice viewers hear.”

Furthermore, as per Rob Shuter, the Duchess of Sussex is not just voicing the film but is also helping her husband shape the narrative.
Harry and Meghan are “shaping” this together. They believe there are “powerful parallels” between the late Princess of Wales’ disputes with the palaces and press and their own battles. “Meghan’s narration makes that perspective impossible to separate from the film,” the source added.
Moreover, the outlet said this could definitely fuel further tensions between the estranged brothers. William would reportedly not appreciate Harry and Meghan staking a claim to Diana’s incredible life and legacy.
A royal source stated: “William believes Diana’s legacy belongs to him. Harry making his own film is one thing. Meghan becoming the narrator of their mother’s story is something else entirely. That will be extremely difficult for William.”
