Simon Cowell is soaking up the sun with family in beach pics snapped two months after his back surgery.
His fiancée, Lauren Silverman, shared photos from their day at the beach with sons Eric, 12, and Adam, 20.
Cowell has a history of back struggles since suffering a serious electric bicycle accident in August 2020.

On Sunday, Nov. 1, the TV star’s fiancée, Lauren Silverman, shared a few sweet snaps (below) from a family day on the beach with Cowell.
“Scenes from a dream. October half term edition,” she captioned the post. “Sometimes a photo just can’t capture how a moment feels. The sea, the sunshine, nature, and being surrounded by the people and dogs I love most and having nowhere else I need to be.”
Silverman concluded, “All I can really say is that my heart is full. Feeling incredibly grateful, happy and at peace with life right now.”
The carousel is filled out with snaps of the family soaking up the sun and smiling for the camera. In one shot, Cowell and Silverman’s 12-year-old son, Eric, and her older son, Adam, 20, pose with their mom. In another, they head toward the water with their surfboards. (Cowell and Silverman welcomed son Eric in 2014 while Adam is her son from a prior marriage.)
Another photo sees Silverman and Cowell smiling for a selfie, with her arms wrapped around him.
The update comes months after Cowell announced in August that he would miss several weeks of America’s Got Talent to undergo back surgery.

At the time, a rep for the TV personality told Entertainment Weekly, “Obviously medical matters are private but it’s routine and he will be back in a few weeks.”

Prior to the surgery, Cowell had a history of back struggles after suffering a serious electric bicycle accident in August 2020. In the aftermath, he underwent a six-hour fusion surgery, involving a metal rod and screws. He eventually unpacked the injury during a visit to The Kelly Clarkson Show in June 2021, noting that he now has “titanium” in his body.
“I was a millimeter away from breaking my spine, which would’ve been a disaster,” he told Clarkson. “I knew I’d broken my back in that second, and somehow managed to get back into my bedroom. I’m lying in my bed, and covered in blood, waiting for the ambulance.”
A year later, Cowell told OK! that he had minimized the damage in prior interviews and admitted that he was “lucky to survive” the accident.

“It was a lot worse than people thought,” he added. “I had a lot of long-term nerve damage as well. Then, a year later, I fell off [another] bike—and that set me back again.”
Cowell’s struggles continued when, in February 2022, Entertainment Weekly’s sister site PEOPLE reported that he had broken his arm after falling off another e-bike in London, just 18 months after the initial back injury. Still, Cowell insisted during a 2023 visit to Today that his love for cycling would continue.
“I’m still gonna stay on my bike,” he told the morning show hosts. “I’m obsessed with these things.”

Cowell and Lauren have been romantically linked since 2012, when she was still married to now ex-husband Adam Silverman. Cowell’s representatives initially denied the romance rumors. A year later, the couple announced they were expecting a child together and that the Silvermans had filed for divorce. In 2021, Cowell proposed to Silverman on Christmas Eve while on a family vacation in Barbados (where the couple first met).
