After attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s highly anticipated, star-studded wedding in New York City, Simone Biles recalled her experience. While appearing at the Faces in Fitness Festival in Chicago recently, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist was asked about a piece of gossip from the wedding.

However, without giving much intel, Biles simply mentioned that her YSL sunglasses were stolen at the event by a Grammy-nominated singer.

Who Stole Simone Biles’ YSL Sunglasses?

According to Entertainment Weekly, Simone Biles attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3. Sharing an Instagram post from the wedding, she flaunted her matching maroon outfit with her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens.

However, the gymnast later revealed during the Faces in Fitness Festival over the weekend that her sunglasses were taken from the wedding.

Biles shared during the Chicago event, “Avril Lavigne stole my sunglasses.” She added, “I Instagram her and I’m like, ‘Yo, can I get those YSLs back?”

Joking that the Grammy-nominated singer took her sunglasses and never returned, Biles quipped, “But I don’t think she’s seen it yet. Yeah.”

Biles and Lavigne were among the many celebrities in attendance, including Brad Pitt, Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, and others who attended Swift’s wedding.

Biles Undergoes Medical Procedure After Health Scare

Meanwhile, Simone Biles’ comments come after she underwent a medical procedure following an unexpected health scare last month.

On July 23, she shared an Instagram Story showing herself smiling in a hospital gown and bouffant cap, with her husband by her side.

While she didn’t reveal her recent medical procedure, Biles previously disclosed on June 6 that she experienced one of the worst health scares of her life.

“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age. But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week,” she wrote on Instagram Story.

Further reflecting on her health crisis, the gymnast mentioned carrying “emergency” anxiety medication in her purse in her July 26 Instagram video.

“I also have my emergency anxiety meds, which, there’s a story behind that… just in case I get nervous on flights or before flights,” she said.

Although the athlete didn’t go into detail about her anxiety medications, she has previously been transparent about her mental health.
