More music-inspired murder mysteries are heading to Hallmark Channel.

During the Morristown, N.J., stop of the Hallmark Stars Live tour on July 26, Tamera Mowry-Housley made a big announcement regarding her popular Haunted Harmony Mysteries series.

“I’m going to announce today that the fourth installment of the Haunted Harmony murder mysteries, Prelude to a Wedding, is going to be airing September 5,” she revealed. “Gethsemane Brown and Eamon are on the case again.”

According to Hallmark’s official logline, “When Gethsemane (Mowry-Housley) is invited to play at a wedding, she and Eamon (Risteard Cooper) find themselves involved in the death of a member of the bridal party.”

During the event, Mowry-Housley explained, “My character gets invited to a wedding, you know, because I play the violin.”

Referring to Gethsemane, the actress, 48, added, “She inspired me to learn how to play the violin, so I play the violin in real life now.”

Later in the evening, Mowry-Housley showed off some of her singing talents as she, Nikki DeLoach, Ashley Williams, Andrew Walker and Jonathan Bennett played an improv game and created a quirky Hallmark movie moment on the spot.

In June 2025, the star shared a photo of herself practicing the violin. “Here’s me learning to play the violin,” she wrote. “Living proof that it’s never too late to pick up a new instrument!”

Mowry-Housley also shared a video on YouTube in February 2024 of herself playing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” — with her daughter Ariah singing along — after completing her first week with the string instrument.

“We now have a new playtime activity,” she noted.

Haunted Harmony Mysteries, which launched in 2023 with Murder in G Major, follows former orchestra conductor Gethsemane Brown, who moves to Ireland to teach at a boarding school and meets her ghost of a roommate, Eamon, with whom she solves crimes on the side. The movies also star Virgin River alum Marco Grazzini.

The second installment, Buried at C, was released in October 2025, and the third, Key to the Castle, dropped in May 2026.
