In an affidavit, authorities say Woods' eyes were "bloodshot and glassy" and his pupils were "extremely dilated" after his rollover car crash.

Tiger Woods had pills in his pocket at the time of his DUI arrest, according to an arrest affidavit.

In the affidavit obtained by PEOPLE* *on Tuesday, deputies who searched Woods at the crash scene stated that they located two white pills inside the pro golfer's left pants pocket with the marks "M367." The medication was revealed to be the opioid hydrocodone.

When asked by officers if he took prescription medication, Woods reportedly said, "I take a few."

According to the affidavit, Woods agreed to field sobriety tests and appeared to have a leg injury as he was "limping and stumbling to the right." The athlete also explained that he's had seven back surgeries and over 20 operations on his leg, and had a compression sock over his right knee.

Woods allegedly said he did not consume any alcohol before the crash but that he took his prescription meds that morning. He also stated that he did not consume any illegal substances, and refused to provide a urine sample.

Authorities noted in the arrest affidavit that Woods was sweating profusely after the crash, even though he was sitting in the back of a vehicle with the air conditioning on. A deputy also stated Woods' movement was "lethargic and slow," and that he showed "severe signs of impairment." When he removed his sunglasses, the deputy observed Woods' eyes were "bloodshot and glassy" and his pupils were "extremely dilated."

Cops also noted Woods appeared "extremely alert" during the investigation.

Woods was charged with two misdemeanors — DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to lawful test — on Friday, March 27, after his alleged involvement in a rollover car crash in Jupiter Island, Fla. His black Land Rover collided with a pressure cleaner truck around 2 p.m.

The affidavit noted that Woods said he didn't see the truck slow down ahead of him as he was busy looking at his cell phone and changing the radio station. The golfer allegedly traveled over the double solid line and into oncoming traffic to avoid impact, but struck the back bumper of the truck — causing his car to flip on the driver's side per police.

The driver of the truck, Jeromy Bullard, stated he and another unidentified individual helped Woods out of his car through the passenger side.

Representatives for Woods did not immediately respond to **'s request for comment.

Woods was previously involved in a rollover accident crash in Los Angeles County in 2021. Authorities reported that the athlete did not show signs of impairment at the time. He later had surgery to treat multiple leg injuries he sustained in the accident.

The golfer also faced a DUI charge in 2017 after authorities in Jupiter, Fla., discovered him unconscious at the wheel of a stationary vehicle. "I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved," he said in a statement at the time. "What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly."

Woods later checked himself into a rehab program for prescription drug addiction and pleaded guilty to reckless driving. The DUI charge was dropped in exchange.
