Tom Holland Just Got Really Honest About His Past '****' Films And Why People Shouldn’t Watch Them

Tom Holland has been on one hell of a run this year amid his promotional tours for “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

In a recent interview with “Dish Podcast,” the actor talked up his latest films — and shared what he really thought of some past projects.

“When you’re doing press for movies that you’re really proud of, it’s really easy,” he explained in the July 22 interview. “Because when they ask you questions about why should people go and watch this movie, you’re not lying to anyone. You really feel like people should go see it.”

Holland continued, “I’ve had experiences before when people say, like, ‘Why should you see this movie?’ And in the back of your mind, you’re like, ‘You shouldn’t, because it’s ****.’”

The actor didn’t specify which film or films he was referring to. But he did say that his latest work felt like a “bit of a victory lap, to be honest,” before adding, “I’ve really enjoyed it. I’m super proud of both of the films.”

Holland’s blockbuster hits aren’t the only exciting thing he has experienced lately.

The actor and his “Odyssey” and “Spider-Man” co-star, Zendaya, secretly wed earlier this year.

Speculation about the couple’s nuptials kicked off when Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach hinted about the ceremony in March at the Actor Awards. In an interview with Esquire out last month, Holland quietly confirmed that they had indeed tied the knot.

“The Odyssey” is now playing in theaters, and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” hits theaters on July 31.
