Trump posts 'disrespectful' AI photo of Kaitlan Collins after she hit back at his nasty joke

Donald Trump continues to have it out for Kaitlan Collins.
The 80-year-old president, whose marriage to Melania is at its lowest point due. to a 'disturbing' reason, posted an AI-generated photo of the CNN reporter, as trans actress Dylan Mulvaney, on Truth Social on Sunday, July 26. The photo showed Kaitlan as Dylan —from a 2023 Bud Light promotional video she did on Instagram — smiling and holding a Bud Light, with some of the branded beer cans on a table.
This comes as Trump compared Kaitlan to Dylan during his speech at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Friday, July 24. Kaitlan was in attendance at the rescheduled event, appearing stoic, and reportedly let out a small "Oh" when Trump mentioned her. It comes after Trump caused a stunned silence during his speech with a disturbing sex joke.

Her Instagram post was a carousel that included a video of her colleague Wolf Blitzer presenting her the Excellence Under Deadline Pressure award for her reporting of Trump's contentious meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in February 2025.
Kaitlan also posted a statement from CNN that commended and expressed their full support of her. In the last image of the carousel, she posted a quote from the late, former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The quote was, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

Kaitlan captioned the post, "The second best part of last night’s White House Correspondents Dinner was receiving an award from my friend and mentor, @wolfblitzer. The first was reminding everyone why the First Amendment — and asking uncomfortable questions that people in power don’t like — matters."
While the CNN White House correspondent didn't mention Trump by name, the Eleanor Roosevelt quote and her caption, appeared to be an indirect response to his series of attacks on her as she does her job as a journalist and asks him the hard-hitting questions.
Dylan also responded to Trump's attack on her and Kaitlan in an indirect way on July 25 by reposting Kaitlan's slide with the Eleanor quote to her Instagram Story and adding three white hearts.

The AI photo circulated online with people calling out the president for his constant bullying of Kaitlan and his latest doubling down.
A person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Such a disrespectful and childish man."
A second person said, "Can a day go by without this fool being a total embarrassment?"
During the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Trump made jabs at Kaitlan.
"I want to personally congratulate CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on receiving her award," Trump began. "It was all about me. It's a fake - she shouldn't get the award, it was a fake. But I didn’t mind, I said, 'Kaitlan, congratulations.' But it was fake, there’s no question about it."
The convicted felon continued, reiterating a previous dig about her "never smiling."

"She's a young, attractive woman. She never smiles," Trump added. "I said, 'Kaitlan, do you ever smile? Smile. You have a nice position, you’re at CNN fake news, you should be a happy person. So smile, Kaitlan, just smile.'"
Trump, who has been openly anti-trans as he has signed many policies attacking the tans community, then likened Kaitlan to Dylan in her Bud Light campaign in 2023 to attempt to insult the journalist. The commercial featuring the influencer caused a meltdown from conservatives and right-wingers.
"I thought Kaitlan had really made it big with a major new sponsorship," Trump said, "but then I informed her that it wasn't her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney."
It comes after Karoline Leavitt's weird 'maternal' moment with Trump after an awkward exchange was exposed.
